This things called EMOTIONS.

Just now I grinned at our chat as though my joy came from it; chuckling like a teenager who was just asked on date by her crush, after reading your last text. Thinking about it now, one hour ago I was sad, so sad that I made decisions to stay away from you.

What is happening to my heart? Is something wrong there? Or is my heart following the confusion in my head too?

We all feel this way sometimes, if not all the time. That love-hate feeling for our siblings, for the ex who didn’t explain why they had to go, for the friend you are falling for but isn’t noticing you with all your efforts, for that difficult but yet pleasant boss; just people with their own concerns.

The heartbreaking thing is how they don’t even know this feeling you have towards them.

Leaves you with the absorbing feeling of guilt for loving and hating them at the same time. I’ve realized the heart is a delicate place. It’s no wonder the Holy Book of the Christians says "keep your heart with all dilligence; for out of it springs forth the issues of life"(Proverbs 4:23). The heart is filled with a variety of strong passions, so strong it consumes its owner. The job of its owner is to be selective of what passion consumes him.

Emotions cannot be tamed from being felt, but they can be tamed from consuming it’s owner to action.
If any emotion should consume you, choose love.
